| SPORTS BOWLING
Bowling offers a gentle form of exercise. Every 3 games
bowled, you will walk approximately 240 metres, lift and swing approximately
30 kilos, 60 times. Whatever your level of fitness, bowling will help you
maintain that feeling of good health that only regular exercise can acheive.
Bowling is one of the true lifetime sports. Along with golf, swimming and
tennis, bowling is a sport that you can play from the very young age to the
very old. In fact, it is an ideal activity for seniors as it offers a gentle
form of exercise along with mental stimulation. |

Friendships and social interaction are
a feature of Tenpin Bowling. The competitions are friendly but competitive with every level of
skill catered for. So whether you are a beginner or a more experienced bowler,
you will compete in even terms. At Northern Bowl, FREE instruction is available to all our competition bowlers. |
| Our coach, Chris Murphy is Tenpin Bowling Australia certified. Chris coaches many players from beginners to experienced bowlers. If you have a problem with your game or you are experiencing a form slump, Chris Murphy is the person to see. |
